Thought I should post this (as I'm super duper extremely proud of myself!!)

Here's my first ever sock monkey, plush toy, completed sewing project that I did all by myself!!

Hope Sarah (and bubby) like him as much as I do.

Sunday morning training

I had my first personal training session with Sarah at the uni on Sunday. After staying up until midnight studying with her for her next assessment, I got a few hours sleep and then arose at 7.30am. I rode my bike into the city, then did stair sprints, lunges, squats, pushups, situps, hovers and tricep dips. I'd have had a lot worse time if it weren't for the beautiful view of the river.

When I got home Matt and I cooked and ate breakfast, and then headed off for a bike ride. We rode all the way down the River Torrens to West Beach, then along the seaside to Glenelg, and then back home. We were riding for about 2 and a half hours, and got VERY sore bottoms as a result! It was a truly beautiful day (25 degrees I think?) and I was kicking myself for not bringing my camera out and about with me. Next bike trip photos will be a must.

Summer Lovin'

SUMMER CLASSIC

Did the photo shoot with April yesterday morning. We went down to the beach in the afternoon and took some more shots with Dan behind the camera. I'm really happy with how most of them turned out - I feel very glamorous!

The two new additions to our family...

We hunted around the city yesterday, heading through Rebel Sport and A*Mart, as well as Target and a bike shop on Rundle St without having any luck with what we wanted. After lunch with Rob at Scoozi's we left town and drove to KMart where we found two perfect, reasonably priced bicycles and a whole bunch of accessories. We spent less than $200 all up, which is not bad for a pair of (his n' hers) brand new 15 speed mountain bikes, a basket for the front of my one, a repair kit and a lock.
Rode around the 'burbs last night and it was suh-weet!! I can't wait til summer so I can ride to work (and maybe uni) and all around town wearing dresses and being great!
